Abbott Terrace, located in the heart of Waterbury, is a 205-bed facility offering short-term rehabilitation therapy, long-term care, respite, and hospice services. Daily recreational programming, nutritious meals, and housekeeping provide social and emotional wellness while taking away the stressors of daily life. This year, Athena Health Care Systems, the management company of Abbott Terrace, is notably celebrating 40 years of nursing home management.
This week, during National Nurses Week, we extend our gratitude to our extraordinary nurses who selflessly care for others providing essential care when it is needed the most. We are proud to celebrate a collective 373 years of service within our nursing team!
We would like to recognize two employees with 30 or more years of service: Maura Dilk, RN, celebrating 31 years and Erin Larose, LPN, celebrating 30 years at Abbott Terrace.
