Athena’s Corporate Compliance Program was established in 2000 to proactively identify and correct possible issues of fraud and abuse in Athena Health Care Systems’ managed facilities and our corporate office.
Our compliance program provides a mean by which we can take practical steps to minimize, and perhaps eliminate, fraud and abuse in our organization. Athena and its managed facilities do not tolerate fraud and abuse, thus we have established this program as part of a national effort by the federal government to reduce fraud and abuse in our health care programs.
